As a subscriber to the official Kukkiwon and World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) training methods, we have helped many students obtain their black belts (some who became national taekwondo champions).
During our shared taekwondo journey, we were lucky to have developed many lifelong friendships with our past and current students.
That is why we invite you to come and visit our dojang and see firsthand why we are considered to be the premier Korean Martial school in New Jersey.

Taught by our experienced instructors, our lessons are designed so that your child is individually set up to achieve his or her goals in incremental steps.
Transferring In – Junior Ranked Students
If you are transferring in from any other schools (i.e. ITF, ATA, “Kwan”, etc.), we have a bit of work to do.
But first, please know that we are firm believers in promoting taekwondo to everyone. That means we do not penalize a transfer student by forcing him or her to start all over as a white belt.
Instead, we allow the transfer student to retain his/her current rank and belt, even if we do not use that particular colored belt. We will conduct an assessment test to establish his/her current taekwondo knowledge and set goals to obtain his or her next belt.
However, any student desiring to obtain the coveted Kukkiwon Black Belt Certificate through JiHoChoi Taekwondo Institute must first learn and demonstrate the entire poomse (taegeuk # 1 through # 8).

With our expansive training floor space and equipment, JiHoChoi Taekwondo Institute may just be the right home you’ve been looking for.
